This kit is a complete engine mounting solution for the Ducati Desmo 450. It’s not just upper engine mounts – the kit also includes lower engine mounts, equipped with the same rubber isolation system. The result is a significantly higher level of vibration damping and a noticeably calmer, more readable feel from the entire bike.

The engine is not rigidly locked into the frame. Instead, it is allowed a controlled amount of movement, enabling the chassis to work more naturally. This translates into improved traction, smoother power delivery, and reduced rider fatigue – especially during aggressive race riding or on rough tracks.

Rider-tunable setup
The kit includes three rubber bushing hardness options, usable in both the upper and lower mounts:

• Black – hardest
  Sharp response, maximum stability, pure race character

• Green – medium
  The perfect balance between control and comfort

• Red – soft
  Maximum vibration damping and the smoothest riding feel

By combining rubber-isolated upper and lower mounts, the bike’s behavior can be tuned far more precisely than with conventional solid mounts.

All mounts are CNC-machined in-house from high-strength 7075-T6 aluminum and paired with high-strength steel hardware. Precision manufacturing ensures perfect fitment, long service life, and consistent performance even under extreme loads.
